Monthly reports
Malta Traffic Index, month by month
At the close of every month we publish what our own continuous measurements recorded on Malta's roads: the island-wide average, which day of the week carried the most traffic, when the peaks landed, how public holidays changed the morning, and which corridors ran furthest behind free flow.

How the monthly figures are built
Each report uses only readings recorded in that calendar month, the same Malta Traffic Index as the weekly reports. Days without readings are named in the report rather than estimated, and a month without enough coverage is not published. Public holidays are compared with the same morning hours on the month's ordinary weekdays, and left out of the day-of-the-week averages so one day off does not skew them.
For conditions right now, the live map is the place to look; for the hour-by-hour pattern across all recorded weeks, see trends.
